These control how the Polar H10 strap records data during a session. Defaults are
calibrated for seated meditation — change them only if you know what you need. Settings
are saved per-device and apply to the next session.
Accelerometer sample rate 25 Hz 50 Hz (default) 100 Hz 200 Hz
How many movement readings per second. 50 Hz is plenty for breath tracking and
stillness. Higher rates catch faster micro-movements but cost roughly proportional
storage — most practitioners never need more.
Accelerometer range ±2 g ±4 g ±8 g (default)
Sensitivity ceiling. ±2 g gives the finest resolution but can saturate on larger
shifts (coughing, posture corrections). ±8 g is forgiving and standard for meditation.

Adds Sample Entropy, DFA α1, and the Baevsky Stress Index to session summaries. These
are exploratory HRV measures with stricter data requirements — leave off unless you
want to compare sessions analytically.
